Ric Hassani is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and recording artist known for his unique blend of African contemporary music, R&B, and soul. Born Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu on January 6, 1989, he developed a passion for music at an early age. Ric gained widespread recognition through his romantic songs and distinctive fashion style. His breakthrough came with the hit single Gentleman, which earned him significant attention across Africa. He later released popular projects, including The African Gentleman and Love & Romance. Known for his smooth vocals and emotional songwriting, Ric Hassani continues to inspire fans with music celebrating love, relationships, and heartfelt emotions.

He studied at Covenant University and later earned a master’s degree in Energy Economics from the University of Surrey. Through his talent, creativity, and dedication, Ric Hassani has established himself as a respected voice in African music.
