Danny Kaya, born Danny Siulapwa on February 18, 1979, in Lusaka, Zambia, is a celebrated singer and songwriter. He began his music journey in church and school choirs, later studying electrical engineering. In 2000, he released his debut album Mvelani, featuring the hit "Masiku Yonse." His 2005 album Kaya included the popular song "Kaya," which addressed HIV/AIDS awareness. Over the years, Danny has released multiple albums, including Champion and Ba Roomie, and organized the annual Danny Kaya Music Festival. Known for his powerful lyrics and dedication to Zambian music, Danny Kaya remains an influential figure in the country's music scene.
