Zeze Kingston Biography

Zeze Kingston, born Robert Ching’amba on March 26, 1993, in Lilongwe, Malawi, is a celebrated singer and songwriter. He began his music journey in the early 2000s and gained prominence with his unique blend of Amapiano, R&B, and pop music. In 2023, Zeze won Male Artist of the Year and Best Live Act at the Maso Awards .

He is also the founder of the record label Money Making Music, launched in 2024 to support local talent . Zeze is married to Dorothy Shonga, who manages the label’s marketing and events. His hit songs include “Kusangalala” and “Mvetsela.”
Zeze credits South Africa’s Amapiano sound for his breakthrough . In 2024, he announced stepping aside from future award nominations to give opportunities to emerging artists.
