Big Zulu, born Siyabonga Nene on April 7, 1986, is a South African rapper, songwriter, and actor from Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal. Before rising to fame in music, he worked as a taxi driver, a journey that inspired his hardworking spirit. He gained widespread recognition with hit songs such as Mali Eningi, Imali Eningi, and Umbayimbayi, earning multiple awards and a loyal fan base. Big Zulu is the founder of Inkabi Records, where he mentors emerging artists. Known for blending traditional Zulu culture with modern hip-hop, he remains one of South Africa’s most influential and respected musicians.
