Skales

Skales (born Raoul John Njeng‑Njeng on 1 April 1991 in Kaduna, Nigeria) is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter. His stage name means “Seek Knowledge Acquire Large Entrepreneurial Skills.” He began writing rap songs around 2000 and won the 2008 Zain Tru Search contest in North Central Nigeria .

In 2009, Skales signed with Empire Mates Entertainment and released hits like “Must Shine,” “Mukulu,” “Keresimesi,” and “Shake Body.” After leaving the label in 2014, he founded OHK Music. He debuted his album Man of the Year in 2015, followed by The Never Say Never Guy (2017) and Mr Love (2018) . Known for blending hip hop, R&B, and Afrobeat, Skales is praised for catchy melodies and thoughtful lyrics, making him a respected figure in Nigerian music.
