Davido, born David Adedeji Adeleke on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia, is a Nigerian-American singer and producer. He grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, and began his music career in 2011. His debut album, Omo Baba Olowo (2012), featured the hit "Dami Duro." He gained global fame with songs like "If," "Fall," and "FIA." His albums A Good Time (2019) and Timeless (2023) received critical acclaim, with Timeless earning a Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Album. In April 2025, he released his fifth album, 5ive, featuring artists like YG Marley and Chike. Beyond music, Davido is known for his philanthropy and has won awards like the BET and MOBO Awards. He is married to Chioma Rowland and has five children.
