Tupac Shakur, also known as 2Pac, was an American rapper, actor, and poet born on June 16, 1971, in New York City. He became famous in the 1990s for his powerful lyrics about life, poverty, violence, and hope. His first album, 2Pacalypse Now, was released in 1991 and made him a voice for young people. Some of his most popular songs include “Changes,” “Dear Mama,” and “California Love.” 2Pac also acted in movies like Juice and Poetic Justice. He was known for his bold personality and social messages. Sadly, he was shot and killed in Las Vegas on September 13, 1996, at age 25. His music still inspires people around the world today.
