Jemax

Jemax, born James Kawele Kavimba on November 5, 1993, in Kabwe, Zambia, is a popular hip-hop artist known for his powerful lyrics and storytelling. He began his music journey in high school and later worked in a snack factory before joining the music scene. Signed under Alpha Entertainments in 2015, Jemax gained fame with songs like "Will You Love Me" and "Ichilaka." In 2024, he released his debut album The Boogeyman, which quickly surpassed 25 million streams on Boomplay. The album features collaborations with artists such as Yo Maps, Chef 187, and Jae Cash. Jemax's unique blend of hip-hop and local sounds has made him a leading figure in Zambian music.
