Chef 187

Chef 187, born Kondwani Kaira on May 23, 1986, in Chingola, Zambia, is a well-known Zambian rapper and songwriter. He is the younger brother of Macky 2 and sister Towela Kaira. Chef 187 began his music career in 2005 and gained attention in 2010 with the diss track "2010" alongside Macky 2. His debut album, Heart of a Lion, released in 2014, earned him four awards at the 2015 Zambia Music Awards, including Best Hip-Hop Album. He has since released several albums, such as Amnesia (2017), Bon Appetit (2019), and Broke Nolunkumbwa (2023). Chef 187 is celebrated for his lyrical prowess and contributions to Zambian hip-hop.
