Big Zulu

Big Zulu, born Siyabonga Nene on April 7, 1986, in Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, is a renowned rapper and songwriter. He began his career as a taxi driver before pursuing music full-time in 2008. His breakthrough came with the 2016 single "Donsa Nkabi," leading to a contract with Universal Records. Big Zulu's notable albums include Ushun Wenkabi (2018), Ungqongqoshe Wongqongqoshe (2019), and Ichwane Lenyoka (2021), featuring hits like "Mali Eningi." He founded Inkabi Records to support emerging artists and has appeared in TV shows such as Isibaya and Uzalo. His music blends hip-hop with traditional Zulu sounds, reflecting his cultural roots.
