Cassper Nyovest, born Refiloe Maele Phoolo on December 16, 1990, is a South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and record producer. Hailing from Mahikeng in the North West Province, he rose to fame with his hit single “Gusheshe” and debut album Tsholofelo in 2014. Known for chart-topping songs, energetic performances, and successful business ventures, Cassper has become one of Africa’s most influential hip-hop artists. He founded Family Tree Records and has earned numerous awards throughout his career.
