Sarkodie

Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu Addo on July 10, 1988, is a famous rapper from Ghana. He grew up in Tema and started music at a young age. Sarkodie is known for rapping in Twi, a local Ghanaian language. He became popular after releasing his debut album Makye in 2009. Since then, he has released many hit songs and albums, winning several awards, including BET and Ghana Music Awards. He is also the first Ghanaian rapper to win a BET Award. Sarkodie is the founder of SarkCess Music, his own record label. Besides music, he supports youth through charity work. Sarkodie is married to Tracy and has two children. He is one of Africa’s greatest rappers.
