Tiwa Savage is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer celebrated for her powerful vocals and global influence in Afrobeats. Born on February 5, 1980, in Isale Eko, Lagos, she moved to London as a child and later studied accounting before pursuing music. Tiwa worked as a backup singer for artists including Mary J. Blige and Beyoncé before launching her solo career. She gained prominence with her debut album Once Upon a Time in 2013. Known for hits such as Kele Kele, All Over, and Ma Lo, Tiwa has earned numerous awards and collaborations, establishing herself as one of Africa’s leading female artists.
